Russian Roulette
This is the final edit all cut solo by James Wall. Hats off to him, because i couldn't stomach what he had to endure to get it complete.
Working as the DOP on this piece titled "Russian Roulette" allowed me to step outside my comfort zones due to the fashion based theme, as it is something that i would strive to avoid under must circumstances. The short commercial type video is based around a line of accessories created by fashion designer Toni Thornton.
The footage was shot at 50fps, using the Canon 7D as all things should be :)
The art direction made my job very easy on set, the only downside was the location. A stunning location such as an old abandoned warehouse with some decaying wood would have added such rich detail to the existing autumn colour palette present in the footage and video effects.
