DVD Package design

Over past few days, i have been designing some imagery to use for the packaging design. I wanted something that could successfully carry on the emotionless theme of the piece ow work. After some struggle i used a stock texture to make an artistic skin like texture to cover the entire case. And add nothing to the design but its title which is going to be "This Is Life"

Here are some secondary designs i produced. The first is some personal illustration i have been working on, and for the sake of it, tried it in a design for the DVD Package.



This design was litrely using material from the shoot and research folder. Using visuals that matched up to the video.



Below is the design I decided to go with. The package has the correct mood and colour tone to suit the video. Font is very bold and bulky, yet symmetrical, camouflaged and uniform to the background texture.
