Upon deciding to narrow down my specialist field into a formation of cinematography and camera operator, i decided to purchase this very well reviewed book: "The 5 C's of Cinematography" the book covers fundamental rules in motion picture filming techniques, specifically aimed at the cinematographer, although it does tend to branch into the camera techniques very often.
One specific chapter in the book discusses the rules in which a camera should be used to make sense in the laws of camera, and techniques on how a camera can speak a certain emotion in its positioning. A fair amount of details in the book seems obvious, however a large majority is new information to me, and is already helping me become more confident in myself and the roles i am pursuing.
