As planned, i got the opportunity to look around the location, but more importantly got to plan the strategy of shooting a choreographed dance sequence. The experience was great, got to meet Guy Black, the star cast male playing the main part. He has got some crazy moves, and can do backflips, which is very impressive seeing it done infront of you, but i diverse. Together with Guy, we ran through a dance routine to a simular tempo track that will be used in the film. I worked out whats the best techniques to shoot this while he would be preforming the routine. The experience both gave me ease of mind, but in a different light allowed to build relationships with the cast before the shoot, and by "breaking the ice" the shoot in theory will feel that little bit more comfortable, without awkward silences. God i dont like those times!

All the time i was there i could not help but think of the film billy elliot, as much as it has no real connection other than dancing, and a possible working class vibe, i love this film. Such a fantastic feel good story. And some of the cinematography is outstanding to say its filmed in the north east of working class england.
