India Editing - The end

Had the meeting today with Kiran, she was very pleased with the edit on a level of professional quality. However, with no real direction given, and mixed messages, my own instinctive edit had not managed to capture what she was looking for. If anything she used the description " too gritty" as to mean it shines a bad light on the country showing only the grimy and rundown side of the footage. Personally i did not notice any difference in the rushes, it was all rather "gritty" so after the discussion, Kiran made the decision to just do the edit alone, but would give me a credit, which is more than i could really ask for. So this is the end for this little side project. Onwards with other things!
