Change of heart

I believe that although i had pretty much decided on specialising in psot production and vfx was my cup of tea, with acquiring the taste for camera operating, and my intrest in photography as an art, i can feel myself moving more towards cinematography as a specialism. This has become more apparent through the growing dislike to my efforts in the fmp. Another serious benefactor for me is the activity level of a job. Theres nothing i would love more than to be active. Being sat in an editing dungeon really puts me off the idea of my initial chosen specialism. Now by no way will i remove this from my professional skill set, but merely place it second to my belief in DOP work. Now i have a rough idea on what a DOP does on a set, and the camera operator job is pretty self explanatory. But i wish to look deeper into the roles, as i know one thing that i lack in practice with is lighting. And lighting is key to become a good DOP. So i shall look into the job in more detail.
